“SHAARVI” is not just an initiative — it’s a belief born out of pain.
Abuse doesn’t always destroy a woman’s capabilities. It chips away at dignity, self-belief. And over time, it can break her faith in herself.

Where it all started...
Founded by Shalini Soni — an advocate, survivor and certified NLP practitioner - SHAARVI was born from lived experience of a woman..
Like many women, I have felt the pain of being silenced, and cut off from resources. Despite being educated, employed, and seen as independent by the world, inside my home I was ridiculed, controlled, and made to feel small.
It was like that every day — as I changed my shoes near the door.
I would wear my heels along with the mask of being an empowered, respectable woman before stepping out — and, on returning home, I’d slip into slippers and remove that mask of “izzat” at the doorstep.
The humiliation inside the home was constant, yet invisible — carried in silence, out of shame and fear of judgment.
That contradiction — between who I was and who I was allowed to be — slowly became unbearable.
From that pain of contradiction, a quiet fire was born — the will to turn suffering into strength. That journey — as brutal as it was — is what gave birth to "Shaarvi"
Shaarvi exists for one purpose — to make difference in the life of woman — so that no woman is ever deprived of dignity, self-worth, and independence, simply because she is a wife or a woman.
From Pain to Purpose..
Even today, when I think of what I endured, the pain still moves me — it’s a reminder of what I survived and why this work matters.
I won’t claim to be completely over it — healing is an ongoing journey, not a destination.
For me, Shaarvi is that path — a way to give meaning to what I’ve been through, and to help other women move from silence and dependence toward strength and independence.
I continue to heal, to learn, and to grow — and through Shaarvi, I walk that path alongside every woman who chooses to rise.

Shaarvi - “Where pain finds meaning, and women find themselves.”
“Born from lived experience, Shaarvi is a voice for every woman who refuses to be defined by pain - instead chooses to begin again.”
